Lesson 4: Thoughts Become Beliefs

Today’s Assignment:

  1. Look at the actions list you created in yesterday’s assignment, and ask yourself – what do I have to believe to be able to take those actions?  Essentially, what are the thoughts, that if they were just so a part of me, I would automatically take those actions. Write those down.
  2. Now explore how these beliefs you just listed are either consistent with what you already believe, or are somehow different or opposed. NOTE: This is deep work – so don’t try to do it right.  Just see what you see… What thoughts come up when you imagine actually doing those actions? How are those thoughts actually beliefs you have about yourself, others, and the world?
